One Year Later

It has been one year since I published my first blog post “Why ‘TravelingYogiBear'”. I wanted to check in and see if my initial intentions for this blog have held up…

Travel

Along with a page listing travel tips, since my blog started I have written a lot of posts about my travels, including:

Yoga

During this last year, I have completed my 200hr teacher training and Level One Baptiste Training, attempted to invent Scuba Yoga, gone in depth into a few yoga poses, relayed my experiences at several different yoga events, written about the anatomy of stretching, and have also developed my first yoga retreat.

Bear

The bear spirit is a symbol of strength and confidence, taking action and leadership, and exhibiting fearlessness. Over the last year I have written about my experiences with anxiety, how I create jewelry to calm my mind, my struggle with staying motivated and ways to nurture mindfulness in our lives. I hope that my honesty about my personal battles resonates with you and allows you to see that we are not alone in this crazy thing called life.

Thank you!

My husband and my daughter have both been incredibly supportive of my blog. They have let me discuss blog ideas and waited patiently while I took a ridiculous amount of pictures while we are out and about.

I also want to thank all of my readers, especially those of you who took time to comment on my posts! Thank you for supporting me in this adventure and let’s see what tomorrow brings!

I would love to hear any requests for blog posts.

What would you like to learn more about?
